A master bathroom is a twenty-year room. It should feel like a hotel you don't want to leave and run without a plumbing mystery for decades. That's a design question, a plumbing question, and a waterproofing question — we handle all three.
Angela is an NKBA Certified Bath Designer, and master bathrooms are her specialty. She'll design a layout that flows — toilet, tub, shower, vanity in a sequence that works — and spec materials you actually want to live with.
Behind the tile we install modern plumbing (PEX supply, PVC drain), Schluter waterproofing on every wet surface, Ditra uncoupling membrane under the floor, and joist reinforcement where deflection calls for it. The luxurious finish lasts because the boring stuff underneath is right.

Design
Angela walks the bathroom, measures, talks lifestyle and wish-list. Delivers a 3D layout with fixture and material spec within a week.

Selection
Tile samples, fixture showroom visits (if desired), quartz samples. We help edit choices to avoid 50-option paralysis.
03
Build
Permit, demo, plumbing rough, framing, waterproof, tile, cabinets, glass, fixtures, paint, trim. Typically 4–6 weeks.
04
Final
Inspection, punch list, final sealing, final walkthrough. One crew from day one. Daily photo updates the whole way.

Schluter Ditra-Heat
Uncoupling membrane + integrated electric floor heating. Comfortable floors without the cost of a full hydronic system.
Freestanding tubs: Kohler Memoirs, TOTO Neorest, Victoria + Albert
Cast iron, acrylic, or volcanic limestone. We level and secure every tub properly — no wobble.
Floor tile: porcelain or marble
Large-format porcelain (24x48) or natural stone. Natural stone gets sealed and sealed again.
Quartz vanity: Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, MSI Q
Non-porous, heat and stain resistant, lifetime look.
Fixtures: Kohler, TOTO, Brizo, Waterworks
All-metal construction, parts-for-life brands. No plastic valve bodies.
Worth knowing first
Things most contractors won't tell you.
Freestanding tubs need serious floor
A filled cast-iron freestanding tub with a person in it is 800+ pounds in one spot. We verify joist capacity before ordering. Sometimes the joist bay needs a sister. Sometimes a blocked bay. We check first.
Double vanities = plumbing work
Most Long Island master baths were built with a single vanity. Going to a double means teeing off the existing supply and adding a drain branch — we permit it and run it properly. Not a two-hour job.
Heated floors are cheaper to install now than later
Ditra-Heat goes under the tile. Adding it after tile is already down is a full floor tear-out. If you're remodeling, we always price both options and let you decide with full information.
Tile to the ceiling looks expensive because it costs more
Adding tile from standard 48" to full ceiling roughly doubles the tile labor on the walls. Worth it on master baths. Feels custom; not an upcharge we recommend on every bath.

Sometimes, by taking closet space or reworking adjacent walls. We handle the architectural drawings for permit and engineering sign-off where structural.
Both. Angela is an NKBA Certified Bath Designer and we include design with every master project. We also happily execute a design from your interior designer or architect.
Yes on both. Steam adds 10–15 days to the schedule and requires full-ceiling waterproofing. Sauna adds a prefab room or custom build-out; we sub the Cedar carpenter for the room but handle the electrical and connection.
